Family Matters Homebased Childcare recognises the importance of the family and the community in a child's development. As a Homebased child care provider, we work to strengthen the relationships between children, their families, their communities and society. Family Matters understands that culture, diversity and community affect child and family development.
Maximum of 1:4 educator to child ratio and safe, secure and stimulating learning environment are enhanced by the supportive love and care of your child's family/whanau - enabling Family Matters to provide the best care and learning environment there is.
Protected online developmental Journals, gives all members of your family the opportunity to access and contribute to your child's care and education - including all of those far-off aunts and uncles! It is this unique sense of inclusion that enhances the ample learning opportunities your child will experience in their care with Family Matters.
There is quite simply nothing better than the loving support a family provides - and Family Matters harnesses this support to your child's full advantage.
At Family Matters:
- Your chosen educator is responsive to your child's needs and interests
- Your child's educational programme caters to your child's abilities and interests
- Your educator is trained and supervised by a qualified Early Childhood teacher
- You choose the hours you need for your child's care if you are working, studying, or are a parent in need of time out, your child will receive the best care.
- You will only pay for the hours you have booked
- You and your family become an integral part of a dedicated service - what you say matters to us!
- We are licensed by the Ministry of Education, which enables you to access 20 hours free care and Education for 3 an,4 and 5 year olds. You may also be entitled to a WINZ childcare subsidy.
